Note to all, never hookup a transmitter or transceiver the antenna port BNC. Also 2 chips were replaced and some boards recapped and any that replaced docketed. Has the original front cover but is missing inner door.I didn refinish and has some paint chips. The manual copy and my notes / illustrated color pics included.
When I acquired this monitor tore it down and refinished the castings with black gloss urethane. It has a fast acting switch the takes and transmitter signals to the internal dummy load. I will also include and Antenna Pictured, AC Power Cable a Codify the unit broken down during rebuild/ cleanup PDF like the service manual. Sat in a box for years.
The Keypad has a bunch of obsolete paging and radiotelephone modes but does allow second modulating frequency such as PL CTS Stone or any other tone be set up. Has AM/CW and FM Modes. Its a receiver.Transmitters and Transceiver should be connected to the Sigh Gen, RF IN corner next large step attenuate. One chip was in the watt meter circuit and other receiver demodulate.Also 2 NEC transistors were replaced front end, That a $50fix itself.
Scope is very clear and bright. Unit also has the see and hear function which means you can still hear receive audio when in spectrum analyzer mode.
